Seen from almost anywhere in the city, Hallgrímskirkja Church is Reykjavík's main landmark. As impressive as the outside is, the inside features a remarkable pipe organ that stands at an impressive 15m tall, weighs a massive 25 tons, and contains 5275 pipes.
This stunning Icelandic Horse was more than happy to meet my acquaintance as he came right up close to my camera for a little affection. I am always taken back by the gentleness and trusting nature of such large and powerful animals.
With a drop of only 12 feet, Urriðafoss is not as an impressive site compared to some of Iceland's other waterfalls. It is however, one of the largest waterfalls by volume, as the falls stretches across an expanse Iceland's longest river, the Þjórsá.
