Laying on the sandy beach at Punta Suarez, Espanola Island, Galapagos, I captured this mother Galapagos Fur Seal and her young pup having an afternoon nap.
Walking along the rocky coastline of Costa Rica, I happened upon a small cave containing a colony of bats. This I believe is a Lesser Dog-Like Bat, although I'm not certain as Costa Rica is home to some 110 species of bats.
The Rothschild's Giraffe, one the tallest animals on the planet, is also one of the most endangered species of giraffe in the world, with less than 1500 known survivors.
