Walking along the rocky coastline of Costa Rica, I happened upon a small cave containing a colony of bats. This I believe is a Lesser Dog-Like Bat, although I'm not certain as Costa Rica is home to some 110 species of bats.
The Rothschild's Giraffe, one the tallest animals on the planet, is also one of the most endangered species of giraffe in the world, with less than 1500 known survivors.
Was taking a walk on a nature trail in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, and came across a small troop of Mantled Howler Monkeys up in the trees.
