Endemic to Espanola Island (Galapagos), I captured this fearless Hood Mockingbird singing a beautiful tune. The Hood Mockingbird is the only species of Galapagos mockingbird that Charles Darwin did not see or collect on the voyage of the Beagle.
Captured this image of a Northern Barred Owl perched in a tree, just off the roadside, near my home in Port Perry, Canada.
A close-up image of Juvenile Striated Heron, with its distinctive Yellow Lore. Image taken on Darwin Beach, Genovesa Island, Galapagos.
