A pair of Common Loons courting in the icy early spring lake waters of Algonquin Park, Canada.
Was on my way home through the Kawartha Region and I stopped to photograph the local Osprey at the Trent Canal near Balsam Lake. From under the bridge came this lone baby Canada Goose. The mother was nowhere around so I rescued the little fellow and took him home and then to an animal rescue centre. We called him Gus Gus.
