The Dark Side

As a landscape and wildlife phoptographer I very rarely take portraits of people. This image is one of the first portraits I attempted. I wanted to try and capture a dark moody low-key image of the model (taken on location at the model's home).

I don't often take portaits as it is not something I'm very comfortable with however, an opportuity came up to capture this new first time mom. I tried to think of a creative way to capture the beauty of pregnacy, and this is what I came up with.
